Without the liberty of thoughts a society can’t grow. In my opinion fiction is the path that leads to intellectual freedom. This site is about my literary journey which was started in 2004 when I wrote my first play ” De suiker die niet zoet was” (The sugar that was not sweet) in Dutch. I wrote the novel in Urdu before translating it into Dutch with the help of my friend Mitra Rambaran. This Dutch novel was my first published work, which was released by a local Dutch publisher. This work was also published in Suriname and made its place on the high school syllabus list.
My Second Urdu novel “Bhaag Bhari” got published in 2018 by Aks Publishers in Lahore Pakistan. This novel addresses the consequences of fanaticism and the aftermath of a nuclear disaster.
Recently in July 2022 my new historical “novel “Bint-E-Dahir ( The story of a Crown Princess of Sindh” was published by the same publisher. This novel is about the Arab invasion of Sindh in circa 712 CE. It is being narrated from the perspective of the conquered nation. The Sindhi language version of this novel was recently published as well.
